Kura Kura is Indonesian for turtle, and just like these beautiful creatures, we design our products to be amphibious.
Whilst going for a run along the forshores of Burleigh Heads, and frustrated with having to change before going for a swim, Kura Kura fitness was born.
The idea coming from my wife, who, from Indonesia, had a love of turtles and had the notion that we should design something that captures the lifestyle of the Gold Coast and Bali where no matter the time of year, you're ready for the gym and a swim.
But our love of fitness and turtles takes us one step further where we donate 10% of our profits to the Sea Turtle Foundation https://seaturtlefoundation.org/ to keep these amazing creatures safe from pollutants and climate change that are destroying their natural habitats.
Kura Kura may mean turtles, but Kura Kura fitness means gym, swim and save the turtles.
